WITHOUT MASKS
THE WATCH HILL COLLECTIONThe Watch Hill Collection consists of more than 450 works by contemporary Cuban artists from 1960 to the present day.
This collection seeks to fulfill an intellectual, moral and political obligation to provoke reflection on the fabric of Cuban culture and society. It aims to link Cuba and the African diaspora not only artistically, but also socially and intellectually.
In so doing, it “unmasks” important truths which we hope will contribute to a better understanding of the people of this unique island who remain so deeply connected to Africa.

FEATURED: BELKIS AYON MANSO BOOKLET VENICE BIENNALE 2022
To coincide with La Biennale Arte 2022: The Milk of DreamsThe Watch Hill Foundation is proud to present a booklet published to coincide with the 2022 Venice Art Biennale, the Milk of Dreams, curated by Cecilia Alemani. The booklet was produced by the Watch Hill Foundation to celebrate the presence of Belkis Ayon Manso's works in this year's biennale. Her works are being shown in the prestigious Central Pavilion of the Giardini.
Drwaing on the same ideas of the spirituality that defined Ayon Manso's career, the booklet contains orignal text by collection curator, Orlando Hernandez, as well as acting as a introduction to the Belkis Ayon Manso works on display at the collection. Follow a link for a free download of the booklet.
